Challenge #165 at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog

I'm a bit late with my post as I thought I had scheduled it. It's time for a new challenge at Aud Sentiments Challenge and we have an Anything Goes plus sentiment challenge for you and the winner's prize will be a voucher for crafty shopping. I hope that you all come and join in the fun.
We got to use anything we wanted to so I thought I would use my Tim Holtz Mini Bird Crazy and Things stamp set and do some more watercolouring with distress inks.
Here is my card.....
Recipe:
SU Pacific Point cardstock for the cardbase
SU Cucumber Crush for the matte
White cardstock from stash for topper
Water colour paper for the birds, party hat and balloons
Images from Tim Holtz - Mini Bird Crazy and Things stamp set
Sentiment from Avery Elle - Sentiments
Die-namics die - Stitched Rectangles for the inside of the card
Tim Holtz Mini Distress Inks
Glossy Accents (for the eyes)
Wink of Stella  - Clear (on the hat and balloons)

Paintbrush to do spots on background

Off to bed as it's rather late and have our 2 year old granddaughter's birthday party to go to tomorrow.
Love to see you over at the challenge blog.
Thanks for stopping by,

Crazy Cat Christmas card

Hi all, it's time for challenge 129 at Crafting From The Heart Challenges. This week we are being sponsored by Di's Digis and we were able to use anything we wanted to create with. As usual it's Anything Goes and I decided to try out my Tim Holtz Crazy Cat Stamps and also try watercolouring with his mini distress inks. A very fun technique! I will be sharing this with my ladies at tomorrow's craft class and see how they go......
Here is my make.....

Recipe:
SU Real Red cardstock
White cardstock from stash
SU stamp set Ghoulish Grunge (the wall)
Tim Holtz Crazy Cat Stamps

Penny Black Creative Dies - not sure what it's called but they are word bubbles.
Copic Markers (gingerbread man)
Tim Holtz mini distress inkpads
Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad
SU Real Red inkpad
SU Chocolate Chip inkpad

I'm off to help my daughter make a giant paper mache Kinder Surprise Egg for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. We are now at the stage of putting the words on.
Hope to see you over at the challenge. Remember you need to link up to the challenge itself, not the blog. To do this, either use my link here ( on the word challenge) or click on the challenge post itself and copy the link at the top.
Thanks for stopping by,

Baby Love

Wow, we had a whiz bang electrical storm tonight. The rain came down so heavy it worked it's way through the roof and in between the internal walls of our bathroom and ran down the tiles and also from the window frame. The electricity fluttered and the lights  went off and then back on. Was pretty pleased that the power didn't go out altogether as I'd only just put a roast in the oven!!!! (yep, it's electric). We had a lovely meal in the end but the rain persisted for several hours and the main road at the top of our street erupted, possibly a burst water main so we had lots of traffic cutting through our street and even a city bus!!!
Anyway, it's calm now at the very end of today, just about to kick over into the new day and here I am trying to beat the clock!
We have a new challenge at Crafty Girls Creations challenge blog today. It's always Anything Goes so no excuse for not joining in the fun and our sponsor Pattie's Creations is giving away a great prize of some of her digis.
I used an image that I already had and here is what I made.....

SU Regal Rose cardstock for basecard, matte and punched tag
