Challenge #29 at Get Creative Challenges

Yeah, we've finally finished all the bouquets for my daughter's Feb wedding. We had quite a few to do and it's nice to be able to pack them away ready for use next year. Not finished yet though, we still have the invites, petal cones and fans to do and possibly some more floral decorations. Once the invites are done we can relax a bit and enjoy ?  Christmas prep and family get togethers.
Time now for the next challenge at Get Creative Challenges and this one has a Holiday Theme.
Our sponsor is the wonderful Sami Stamps
Here is my card......

Recipe:
White card for cardbase and die cut from stash
Small scraps of SU Kiwi Kiss cardstock
Scraps of SU Pistachio Pudding cardstock for snowflake border
DP from Francheville 12x12 paper pad - Christmas Basics
Image is from Sami Stamps - Little Star Angel
Sentiment from SU stamp set - Versatile Christmas
Nestie Die - Curved Rectangles
Memory Box Die - Gabriella Border

Before I leave you to your day or evening let me encourage you to come and share your Holiday creations with us by linking up on the new challenge. A great prize to be won from our sponsor.
Love to check out your fab works of art.

Challenge #152 at 613 Avenue Create

Our second to last day of Spring and it's been a lovely day. We've had a few bad windy days lately and a major fire up north of the city. At least two deaths, many injuries and lots of loss of property, crops, and livestock. Heartbreaking for those involved and made even harder in the lead up to Christmas.
Before I move on and share with you regarding the new challenge at 613 Avenue Create, I would like to send thoughts and prayers to all who have been affected by this tragedy.
So..... the new challenge at 613 Avenue Create starts today and the theme is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist of using Paper Piecing Technique.
Our sponsors are Bugaboo Stamps and SLS Lines
I've used an image from Bugaboo Stamps and I'm also using the Twist..
Here's my card.......

Recipe:
White cardstock for basecard and mattes and to print image out
SU green (not sure which one as I couldn't find a pack (it's either a discontinued one or I'm just out of it!)
DP from Couture Creations 12x12   paper Pad ~ Vintage Christmas
Image from Bugaboo Stamps - Deacon-Piper  - I've paper pieced his hat using DP and cardstock, his hair with cardstock, his tunic -with DP, belt, hands and boots with cardstock.
The image does come with some music notes either side of it but because I fussy cut the image out and then adhered it to a diecut rectangle, I drew them in by hand so they are not accurate as per the original image
Sentiment is from SU stamps set - Christmas Cuties
Dies - Die-namics ~ Pierced Rectangles and a part of a Kaisercraft die
Copic Markers
Memento Tuxedo Black inkpad
D/S tape roller, tacky glue and foam dots

Hubby has just returned home after being out for a few hours looking at Volkswagon vehicles in town - an anuual show.
Please stop by the challenge blog and check out all the wonderful DT inspirations and we would love to see your creations as well. So come join in the fun of the challenge and be in the running for a wonderful prize from our sponsors.
Thanks for stopping by,
Take Care,
Hugs, Sandy

Time to hang the wreath - Challenge 87 at Crafting From the Heart

Hi all, hope you've had a great weekend. Mine was a bit up and down with not feeling 100%. Our DIL left to join our son in Japan to start their two week holiday before going onto Vietnam to surprise her family for another two weeks. Youngest daughter and my friend Rose came over today to once again do some more crafting for the wedding. We are nearly finished making all the bouquets, only have to bind them and add some ribbon tails. Then.....still have flowers for the groom and groomsmen and all the parents & grandparents. We are getting there! Lucky me woke up with a runny nose as well so I'm hoping it won't go into a full blown cold.
Anyway, onto sharing my DT card for the start of the new challenge at Crafting From the Heart. We are an Anything Goes challenge blog and this week our sponsors are Dis Digi Stamps and Beccy's Place.
We would love to see your creations this challenge so come join in the fun and be in the running for a super prize.
Here's my card.......

Recipe:
SU Tip Top Taupe
White card from stash for the image
Image from Beccy's Place - Aussie Wreath Set - (comes with some great Aussie sentiments too)
Copic Markers
SU Crumbcake inkpad
Bling (doorknob) from stash
D/S tape roller & Foam dots

Time for me to go get another tissue, lol and maybe a nice warm drink. Silly cold must be the fickle weather we are having. High temps for a week and now cold windy days, we even had rain overnight!!! It's nearly summer here so should be a bit more consistent than that!!!
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and we really would like to catch your entries this week so please stop by and link up one of your masterpieces!!!
Take Care,
Hugs,. Sandyy

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Another scorcher here in Adelaide, didn't manage much sleep last night and also had our 13 month old granddaughter sharing the bed with me. We started the morning off with a trip to the accountants to finalize our tax for 2014/15 and I forgot one of the details of a share sale so still have that to do tomorrow. A visit to Mum and then back home to go to a friend's for craft but we decided to go see a film instead since there was just the two of us today.

Rose is still beading away on the dress and it's looking lovely.

Hostess thank you gift or card - challenge #148 at 613 Avenue Create

Another busy weekend, yesterday we went to a friend's 30th and he had the theme of Octoberfest and had home brew beer and kransky sausages with all the trimmings. We dressed up in costume, I had a reddish wig with plaits, skirt, top and a vest that I made by cutting up a tank top and adding eyelets and a shoelace to tie it with. It was a good night. Then today we had church, lunch at home and then I joined in the bride & bridesmaid's gathering to talk about our daughter's wedding preparations. I brought home our little granddaughter with me afterwards to stay overnight as both Mum and Dad are going out to separate functions. I'm hoping she will sleep all night as she has already gone to bed about an hour ago and it's only about 7 p.m. here. I'm late posting due to the above activities!!!!
Anyway here is my card for the new challenge starting today at 613 Avenue Create - the theme is Anything Goes with the Optional Twist of making a Hostess thank you gift or card....... I chose to make a gift with a premade box that I decorated with card, designer paper and an image.  Chocolates for the gift and a little thank you tag.
