Challenge 3 at Crafty Girlz Challenges

It's raining today, so Isaac and I drove my DIL to work (she normally rides her Vespa scooter) and then we decided to go to a secondhand shop to have a look around. I need some 80's clothes to wear to my son's 30th birthday party in August and thought I had better start looking now. Of course, we didn't come away from the shop without a little monster truck for Isaac, lol.
Well....it's time for a new challenge to start at Crafty Girlz Challenges and you can either do an ATG project or follow the theme of: Use your flag colours to create your project.
I chose to use my flag colours (Australian flag- red, white & blue) to colour my image and also to create the card. Our sponsor for the challenge is SLS Lines and they are offering 3 digi images to the winner of the challenge.
Here is my card....... I tried to make my cat look like a tabby, not sure if it quite worked

Recipe:
SU Real Red cardstock for the basecard and scallop punched piece
SU Night of Navy cardstock for the mattes

Enjoying an icecream - Challenge #128 at 613 Avenue Create

It's just started to "spit" outside but hubby is hoping it doesn't turn into a proper rain as he is outside trying to shift things around in the driveway. He has a large collection of "junk" oops, I mean useful things cluttering up the driveway!!! I hope you have been enjoying your weekend. Hubby, myself, our youngest daughter and also youngest granddaughter drove down to Victor Harbor yesterday to visit with friends and go to a charity auction. Our daughter is into buying and selling bits and pieces for vintage or rustic weddings so she was happy to snap up several pieces at a cheap price to resell. We dropped them home last night and unpacked the trailer and before she went to bed, she already had sold a lovely vintage mirror. Hopefully the rest of the things will move quickly as well. I had a very early night as I ended up with a migraine which is still lingering today. Might have to go to bed early tonight as well to try and shake it off.
Well I had better get on and share my make for 613 Avenue Create this week where the theme is - Anything Goes with the optional twist of using your flag colours. I live in Australia and our flag colours are ~ Blue base with Red and White. Our sponsors for this challenge are: Rick St. Dennis and Sami Stamps.
Here is my card.......

Recipe:
SU Real Red cardstock
SU Night of Navy cardstock
White cardstock from stash
DP from Sugar & Spice Studio 12x12 paper pad - Mono Positive Negative
Image is from Sami Stamps - Enjoying my Icecream
Sentiment is a Magnolia Rubber Stamp

Copic Markers
D/S Tape Roller
Foam Dots

My fellow teamies and I would love to see you stopping by the neighborhood and entering your creations for the challenge. You'll be in the running for one of two prizes and who knows your card might be one of the top 3. You may even want to do a bit of blog hopping and check out the DT cards or some of the other entrants and leave a comment or two.
I think I'm going to head off and get myself a warm cup of cocoa and maybe start the wood fire too as the sun has nearly gone and it's getting pretty cool.
Catch you all later,
Take Care,
Hugs, Sandy

Challenge 63 at Crafting from the Heart

Hello, I'm back! We've been away in the Mallee region of Sth Australia where my husband grew up. Most of the family came up to stay with us so we had all five of our grandies and 4 of our children and their husbands and wives too. Oh, I forgot, we had 6 furbabies there as well.  We had the bonfire going to sit around and talk and to cook our barbeque and also make roast lamb and roast pork in the camp ovens. A relaxing time was had by all. Most of the girls helped doing two puzzles - one was a large one shaped like a cow and had pictures of another cow, pigs, geese and chickens and a barn in a field and two large sunflowers within in. A very unusual puzzle!
So......now that I'm home I can type my post up. We left Friday and I've only arrived home about 7pm tonight.
Onto the challenge details for the new challenge starting today at Crafting From The Heart. We have two sponsors this time and they are Just Inklined and Deedee's Digis. I was lucky enough to use an image from both of the sponsors and here are my cards........

It's Bingo time at Aud Sentiments - Challenge 133

Hi all, it's a cold, blustery day here in Adelaide. Hubby's had some aluminum signs propped up against the wall near my car and I went out at lunchtime to find one had fallen against the car but luckily it hadn't done any damage!!! The autumn leaves are still on the ground and have been blowing around in little whirlpools like mini tornados. I've been out at my friend Jane's house for craft this afternoon but didn't get much done as she wanted to know how to make an upright Z card so I told her how to do it and then watched and discussed about stamping and then embossing an image; She had borrowed some embossing powder from another friend but just wasn't having much luck getting a decent coverage on her stamped image so after about 8 tries she came with me to the craft shop (I had to pick something up that I had ordered) and bought some embossing powder and another ink to have another go at it. I dropped her off and now I'm home with the wood fire burning trying to warm up the house!
Anyhow, I will get on and share my DT card with you and encourage you to come and play along with the challenge starting today at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog. The theme is Bingo so you have a lot of scope to create your card or project with. Our sponsor is The Stamping Boutique and the DT were given a few images to play with and I chose this one......
Recipe:
SU Pacific Point cardstock for the basecard
DP is from First Edition Paper 12x12 paper pad - man made - I cut out some of the clouds and popped them up over the originals with foam dots
Image is from The Stamping Boutique - Prince Lonnie Latte
Sentiment is from Close to my Heart - Card Chatter Birthday Occasions  - (the inside says: I'm just extending the Celebration!)
Wide Oval Punch
Copic Markers
Memento black inkpad
D/S tape Roller, Foam Dots

Here is the bingo chart for you to follow, we would love to see you come and join in. I used the middle horizontal line on the chart: patterned paper, digi or rubber stamp and a paper punch

I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - June Challenge ~ Use patterned paper
