5th Birthday Celebrations at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog

Congratulations to Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog on their 5th Birthday. I love being a part of this fab blog and working with all the wonderful DT members. Challenge 129 starts today and the theme is none other than - Use the number 5 or make a birthday card. Easy - I chose to combine the two and made a birthday card for a five year old. Don't forget that your card must have a sentiment too.
We are being sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and also Doodle Pantry, I got to play with a fab Doodle Pantry image, sentiment and paper.
Here is my card...... The front has had a section cut off and that means you can see part of the inside card.

Recipe:
Black cardstock for the basecard and diecuts from stash
White cardstock from stash
DP - striped from Crafter's Choice 12x12 paper pad - Cheeky Pirate
      - blue with little pirate ships is from Doodle Pantry set - Piratey Ship
Pirate is cut from a piece of DP out of the Cheeky Pirate paper pad
Sentiment and Image are from Doodle Pantry set - Piratey Ship
The Number 5 was supplied by my teamie ` Ginny H
Nestie Dies - Standard Circles large and small
Copic Markers
SU Aquamarine inkpad
D/S tape roller
Foam Dots

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Creations Challenges - Challenge #286 ~ Anything Goes - No foolin'
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge - Challenge 222 - Anything Goes

We would love to see you join in on our birthday celebrations this fortnight so why not stop by and use Mr Linky to share one of your wonderful creations.
Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment so I know you've been.
Take Care,
Hugs, Sandy

  5. Good one Sandy! The papers are perfect together - the cut on the front really lets that combo be seen. Love the little guy and especially love that you were able to use Ginny's "5"!
